- Rudder pedals and baggage area ribs
Dan
Checkoway has the best way of doing the attachment of the rudder
bar plastic blocks to the ribs in the forward fuselage.
First measure 3" back from the firewall and mark the rib at that
point. Clamp the blocks that have been drilled and match
drill. Its a good idea at this stage to put in extra holes
for people a little shorter (only adjustable on the ground tho and
with a spanner) so I measured a further inch towards aft and
drilled and then a further inch and the same again.

The support bar in the middle was fabricated and
attached tho I have not managed to drill all the lightening holes
yet.
Towards the end of
the day there was enough time to flue and match drill the baggage
area ribs and strengtheners Holes are required to be opened
for the rudder pedals and an extra hole drilled to take the static
line forward.
